Some days I just wake up feeling good, like everything is going my way, and nothing can bring me down. I put a smile on my face and just go with the flow. Today is one of those days. It’s a Monday and the sky is gray, a rare occurrence in Southern California, but my spirits are high and I’m having trouble sitting still. During my morning perusal of Instagram, I came across several memes that only served to further ignite this fire, almost as if positive energy from the universe was being directed right at me.
While I know this not actually the case and that my Instagram feed is more directly related to complicated algorithms engendered by my browsing history, it is nonetheless how I’m choosing to perceive it. And why not? For all I know, my internet-browsing activities are just as much influenced by the energy I receive from the universe as by any other factor, and the Instagram algorithms are responding thusly. Regardless, there are some pretty powerful messages in these memes and I’m thankful to have received them. My heart and mind are open to their wisdom and my soul is responding in kind.
And, as if in response to this positive energy from the universe, my new social security just arrived in the mail! I am officially and legally, heretofore Madeline Dintzner/Female. Now... onto updating the driver's license, real ID, etc., etc.
